Hi
Can you tell me more about the renishaw tape scales? I have an old Cordax IV that no longer works, but I do not have the free cash to go on a shopping spree. I would like to put some sort of current scales on the machine and make it useful again. The X and Y axis are easy, but I cannot figure out how to get a glass scale setup attached to the Z axis. Not enough room anywhere. BTW -- I have all three reader heads and the lights still work. I have two of the readout boxes, but between the two of them I could not manage to get three axis that work. I would be more the happy to part with all the parts in exchange for a 3 axis readout system that is adaptable to this machine. Thanks Tim
